Yogurt lemon cupcakes for Easter!
Easter is in a few weeks. And I always like the preparations for that. Put together a nice lunch with both sweet and savory dishes. A beautifully laid table full of food where you can taste everything.
You can get so much inspiration from magazines. Beautiful photos with the recipe tempt you to make the dish. I always keep magazines endlessly, until the cupboards are really full and I have to clean up. And then I am talking about magazines from, for example, 2008. Before I dispose of a magazine, I leaf through it one more time to make sure that I will not miss any valuable ideas. ? And yes, you will always come across nice things and also delicious recipes. that are worth it.
The recipe
For example, I came across the recipe Yoghurt lemon Easter cakes in Seasons magazine and I would like to share that with you!
What do you need for 12 cakes
200 grams of soft butter + extra for greasing
200 grams of fine table sugar + extra to sprinkle
4 eggs at room temperature
200 grams of self-rising flour
Grater of 1 lemon
3 tablespoons full yogurt
Easter eggs baking mold (or Easter bunnies or any other nice shape) or a turban
How do you make them!
Preheat the over to 185 degrees Celsius
Grease the molds or turban with butter
Beat the butter and sugar until creamy with an electric mixer
Beat in the eggs one at a time at a low speed
Beat in the flour, the lemon juice and the yogurt little by little
If necessary, add a tablespoon of yogurt if the batter becomes too thick
Divide the batter over the molds. Fill them to approximately three-quarters
Bake the cakes in the middle of the oven for 20-25 minutes
Prick the cake with a skewer, when it is dry the cakes are ready
Take the cupcakes out of the tin and sprinkle them immediately with table sugar
A nice sweet dish (always delicious with a dot of whipped cream) on your Easter table.
